Stefan Strobel is new Head of Email Business Unit at GROUP Business Software AG
Eisenach/Karlsruhe, 25 February 2010 – A new face at the head of GROUP Technologies: from the beginning of March, Stefan Strobel will be Head of Email Business Unit, with responsibility for all GROUP Business Software AG global email, archiving and administration activities. “I am delighted to continue driving forward the strategic focus of GROUP Technologies, leading supplier of legally compliant email management solutions, on both German and international markets, and building up this area of the business”, said the professionally trained business economist.
Employed by GROUP since 2002, Strobel was most recently the Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing of the Relavis Inc. subsidiary in New York. At 49, he has wide-ranging expertise and many years of experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), which he will be bringing with him to his new area of responsibility. Amongst other activities, he had leading roles in Marketing and Sales at TJ Group and GEDYS IntraWare.
“Established business processes – including those around email communication – are currently being put to the test in terms of cost efficiency and data protection. The global demand for solutions for optimising all business email processes continues unabated” – in spite of the economic crisis, Stefan Strobel sees great potential in the market for email management solutions.
